ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Montinique Shelby
I'm a proud native of Austin, Texas. I come from a family deeply rooted in community
service and activism. My family's legacy is visible throughout the city, with several
buildings and streets bearing their names, and our church recognized as a historical
landmark. Inspired by the community works of my ancestors, I dedicated myself to
continuing this tradition of service. Growing up and working for different non-profits, I
was surrounded by the positive influence of a supportive community, which shaped my
passion and love for people and my desire to create inclusive environments.
​This passion led me to organize events designed to provide safe spaces where individuals
can connect and feel a sense of belonging. I believe in the power of community to uplift
and transform lives, a belief that drives all my efforts. Through my events, I aim to bring
awareness and advocate for different global crises. At the same time, I want to create
an environment where people can meet others, enjoy themselves, experience a sense
of oneness, and gain an education. With a heart for service and a commitment to fostering
connections, I will continue to build on my family's legacy, making an everlasting impact
in my community to serve the people.
Mission
To acknowledge global crises and serve and unite the community through different events. We are committed to giving back to the community while collaborating with other organizations and creatives and creating a space for people to fellowship, gather, and embrace one another.
Vision
To host and partner community events that bring people together of all backgrounds as well as promote education for diversity, and advocate to our community different organizations that provide resolutions for different global crises.
